Our Location
Athens is a city where ancient history meets modern life.
Known as the birthplace of Western civilization, Athens is full of famous landmarks like the Parthenon, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the Ancient Agora.
Visitors can visit unique museums, enjoy breathtaking views from Lycabettus Hill and wander through the beautiful Plaka district and other neighbourhoods.
Even though Athens is the capital of Greece, it is not as large as other European capitals.
Athens has a much smaller and compact center, making it easy to access and explore.
Most major sights, from ancient ruins to vibrant neighbourhoods with cafes, bars, shops, restaurants or traditional taverns, are within walking distance from a metro station or other means of public transportation.
If you're planning a trip to Athens and looking for a hotel that offers both convenience and accessibility, we provide the ideal balance of being central while avoiding the crowded areas like Syntagma Square.
Our hotel is not in the very heart of the city center, but also not in the suburbs. We are located on one of the city's main central avenues, Alexandras Avenue.
Our location offers a convenient base to explore the city and easy access not only to all major attractions, but also to important business and medical areas of the city. The National Archaeological Museum, the Pedion Areos Park, Lycabettus Hill, but also the Police headquarters, the Supreme court, the civil court and the metro station “Ampelokipi” are within walking distance as well.
Easy Access to Transportation
Ampelokipi metro station is within walking distance, where you can access Line 3 (Blue Line), Airport – Doukissis Plakentias – Dimotiko Theatro.
Line 3 offers direct access to the Airport, Syntagma Square, the Monastiraki and Keramikos areas, as well as theport and the center of Piraeus. Line 3 also provides a connection with Line 2 (Red Line) “Anthoupoli – Elliniko” offering easy access to the Acropolis Museum and Line 1 (Green Line) “Pireaus – Kifisia” covering other areas of the city.
Buses that stop outside or very close to our hotel, will take you directly to the historic center of Athens or to the metro station “Ampelokipi”, giving you easy access to landmarks such as the Acropolis, the Ancient Agora, and Plaka.
Taxis in Greece are also very affordable, especially compared to many European countries, giving you even more flexibility to get around. In just 10-15 minutes, a taxi can take you to the historic center and you can explore Athens’ iconic landmarks.
Close to Major Attractions
While the historic center of Athens may be the focal point for many travelers, there’s much more to discover near our hotel. Just a stone’s throw away is the National Archaeological Museum, one of the most important museums in the world, where you can admire ancient Greek art and artifacts. The nearby Pedion tou Areos park is another gem, offering a peaceful escape in the city for a morning walk or evening stroll.
For those looking to experience Athens from above, Lycabettus Hill is within easy reach from our hotel. Hike up or take the funicular to the top for an incredible panoramic view of the entire city, including the Acropolis and the Aegean coastline.
