·         Visit the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center from November 27, 2025 to January 7, 2026 and enjoy a stroll through the beautifully decorated grounds. There will also be    events such as the “Dancing Fountains” at the Canal, Christmas markets (Makers’ Market), live shows, light/art installation festivals, family and cultural activities, as well as a free ice        rink (online pre-registration required).

 

·         The Christmas City returns to Technopolis of the City of Athens – DEI CHRISTMAS FACTORY, from November 22, 2025 to January 6, 2026, with 10 interactive workshops in   Santa Claus’s Bright City, under the title “Find Your Star,” invite children—and why not adults as well—to take part in a universe full of imagination, creativity, and play.

 

·         The Museum of Folk Art and Tradition “Angeliki Hatzimichali” in Plaka is hosting the exhibition “The Carols” from December 7, 2025 to January 10, 2026.

 

·         Athens Concert Hall (Megaron Mousikis): From December 16, 2025 to January 4, 2026, hosts Christmas concerts, classical music and dance events such as:

 

  • “Karagiozis’ Christmas in Cuba” (19.12.25–5.1.26): Traditional shadow-theatre characters meet Cuban percussion and circus acrobatics in a festive spectacle.
  • On December 28, the Camerata – Friends of Music Orchestra, performing on period instruments, presents Claudio Monteverdi’s Vespro della Beata Vergine (Vespers of the Blessed Virgin Mary).
  • From December 20 to January 5, the musical “Aladdin and the Magical Christmas”.
  • December 21: A Christmas organ recital, “2 Organists – 4 Hands.”
  • December 30: The Athens State Orchestra with Alexandros Myrat presents a Festive Gala: “Around the World in 80 (and a few) Minutes.”
  • January 4, 2026: The year begins with the melodies of Vienna and the waltzes of the Strauss family.
  • December 14–29: On the festive foyer stage, youth choirs and emerging musical ensembles from conservatories and music schools of Attica will perform beloved Christmas songs and wonderful seasonal melodies. Right nearby, an ice rink will be operating daily from morning until night.
